This time we're trying to see how well Vimeo hosts videos. I'm still using my own equipment, time and resources to put this up but I'm working on a plan to make it permanent (ie. city run, city funded) facility. I expect capital costs to be in the sub 2000$ range for camera etc, and minimal effort and cost to maintain. It depends on the value though...is anybody interested?
If so, drop me a line, send me an email...let me know.
This month, we get the entire council meeting...mostly because it didn't run too long and there were more questions during the actual council meeting than in Question Period. Click on the link in this article to view the video (you'll need a Windows Media player to view the video).
Technical note: I used a different video camera for this session (and going forward) so the angle is a bit wider due to differences in the camera lens.
UPDATED: Council meetings are open to the public and now run from 7:30pm to about 9pm, usually on the first Monday of each month. This will vary depending on holidays and other events -- please check the municipal website to confirm actual meeting dates, or check the events calendar on this site.
